What lives in the garden yet isn't flora or fauna?

There are things in my garden that don't photosynthesise or breathe. They might get a bit shabby, or rusty, but they don't really change much over time.

The little guinea fowl family have lived in the front garden for many years. My grandsons play with old coconut shells in the garden. To my surprise one day it appeared the guinea fowl had laid a very large egg. Still waiting for it to hatch to see what's inside ...

Every garden needs at least one fairy. Traditionally they live at the bottom of the garden, but in my case a fairy looks after a pot plant near the front door.

Pig is shy and hides behind the rocks. She's got a white spot on her nose. I think a disrespectful bird put it there.

Three corrugated iron flying ducks decorate the side of the house where the deck is. They've been there for years and have never flown away.

These rabbits were in my mother's garden. They were white but when they moved to my garden I painted them. I'm not a very good painter.

  3. There are naked ladies at the bottom of our garden. I think they scared the fairies away.
And quirky birds. And an elephant or two. And a dragon. All quite happy, and mostly hidden.
Love the denizens in your garden.

  7. I enjoyed seeing the creatures that inhabit your garden. That pig, bird-blotched though she may be, is my favorite. She found a perfect spot there behind the rocks. I also have a pig but he wears ridiculous overalls. My husband brought him home as a gift many years ago. I "forgot" him when we moved 7 years ago but my husband discovered him and brought him along.
